About the Role

Our client is seeking an engaging, highly organised Marketing and Bid Coordinator – ideally with a previous industry experience. This role is responsible for creating, compiling and updating relevant marketing materials, managing our client’s online and marketing presence, and leading bid submissions. While reporting to the team of Directors this role works closely with the Submission Team Leaders, Office Managers and other staff, and is located in an attractive Newcastle office.

Responsibilities of this part-time (3 days/wk), permanent role include:

  • Lead and contribute to bid submissions and competition entries
  • Manage the production of high-quality bid documents by drafting and preparing tender documents, presentation material and collation of technical input incl. project documentation
  • Monitor new business-related enquiries, accurately projected timelines and submitted bids to ensure feedback is gained and recorded
  • Actively research and identify new prospective business opportunities
  • Actively contribute with creative approach and marketing communication/input as to promote company’s projects and best practice in various channels incl. social media and website
  • Use analytical skills as to evaluate various type of marketing data and efficiencies of campaigns incl. online; and to review submitted bids to examine opportunities for future improvements; produce various reports
  • Generate other marketing & development materials to support new business; Ensure existing marketing materials are up-to-date


About You

  • Previous experience in an architectural practice is highly desirable
  • Relevant tertiary education or degree in marketing, advertising or communication
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple competing priorities and deadlines, excellent time management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to adapt to the respective audience
  • Ability to work autonomously and apply initiative, as well as collaborate
  • Enthusiastic, positive and engaging approach
  • Advanced in Adobe Creative Suite – particularly in InDesign and proficient in MS Office suite
